Impact

This vulnerability is related to a denial of service when processing JSON payloads. Upstream does not plan to backport the fix to versions prior than the 1.21 Community Edition stream but has available fixes in the Enterprise Edition version stream 1.16.27, 1.19.11 and 1.20.5. Users should upgrade to Vault CE 1.21.0 or later which contains the fix.
