The dependency is pinned to a January 2025 upstream snapshot that already contains the fix; the Go pseudo-version merely sorts below the fixed release tag, producing a scanner false positive.

Impact

The vulnerability originates from a dependency that requires an upgrade to a newer version. However, doing so would currently break the build. Upstream must update the dependency and refactor the code accordingly. Once addressed, we will proceed with remediating the vulnerability.
