Impact

The affected object is gated behind nvdec_deps="ffnvcodec" in configure and ffnvcodec is not present in this build environment, so libavcodec/nvdec.c is never compiled. Confirmed against the shipped artifacts on both architectures: nvdec.o and cuviddec.o are absent from the static libavcodec archive while h264dec.o, hevcdec.o and allcodecs.o are present, and the codec library carries no nvdec, cuvid or libnvcuvid symbols. The vulnerable source is present in the tree; this determination rests solely on it not being built.
