Impact

CVE-2026-70181 is fixed in .NET runtime 8.0.32 (https://github.com/dotnet/core/blob/main/release-notes/8.0/8.0.32/8.0.32.md). dotnet-bootstrap-8 8.0.132 ships the bootstrap SDK that the upstream dotnet/dotnet v8.0.132 source tag requires to build .NET from source. That tag's global.json pins SDK 8.0.131, which carries runtime 8.0.31. Waiting for an upstream dotnet/dotnet 8.0 release whose bootstrap SDK carries the fixed runtime.
