Impact

GeoServer 2.27 bundles spring-expression 5.3.39, the final release of the Spring Framework 5.3.x line (EOL August 2024). This advisory applies only to the 5.3.x branch and no patched release exists on Maven Central. Upstream migrated to Spring Framework 6 in GeoServer 3.0, not in the 2.x line, so there is nothing to backport here.
