Impact

The vulnerability is fixed in github.com/elastic/beats/v7 version v7.0.0-alpha2.0.20251204214633-dd3af18220bf. Upstream has not backported the fix to the 7.x branch, and manual cherry-pick attempts resulted in failures due to incompatible changes.
