Impact

The vulnerable component is the npm package aws-sdk (AWS SDK for JavaScript v2). Per the GitHub Security Advisory at https://github.com/advisories/GHSA-j965-2qgj-vjmq, there is no patched version for aws-sdk (vulnerable range >=2.0.0,<=3.0.0); the advisory directs v2 users to migrate to the v3 SDK (@aws-sdk/*), as no fixed v2 release is planned. Upstream AWS SDK maintainers will need to release a fixed v2 version, or sqlpad must migrate to the v3 SDK, in order to resolve this CVE.
