This CVE which affects fast-redact <= 3.5.0 versions has been disputed by the upstream maintainers. The reported vulnerability was based on a misuse of an internal undocumented utility function. Using the documented public API from fast-redact does not produce the same result as in the CVE report. See https://github.com/davidmarkclements/fast-redact/issues/75
