Impact

prometheus >= v0.311.3 (or LTS v0.305.3) fixes the CVE upstream, but neither builds cleanly with KEDA v2.18/v2.19:

  • v0.311.3 forces otelgrpc past v0.61 which removed UnaryClientInterceptor; vendored k8s.io/apiserver v0.33.5 (pinned via replace) still uses the removed API.
  • Bumping k8s.io/apiserver replace to v0.34+ cascades into incompatible API changes elsewhere in KEDA.
  • Upstream KEDA latest still pins prometheus v0.304.2 (https://github.com/kedacore/keda/blob/main/go.mod). Needs an upstream KEDA change before we can remediate.
