Impact

The fix ships only in Spring Security 6.5.x/7.x, which require Java 17 and Spring Framework 6; ranger 2.9.0 is on Java 11 and Spring 5.3. 5.7.14 is the last openly published 5.7.x. A fix requires upstream ranger to move onto a supported Spring Security line.
