Impact

Cortex 1.21.0 cannot be updated to the prometheus version that fixes this CVE (v0.311.2-0.20260410083055-07c6232d159b). That commit removed the tsdb/errors package, which is required by cortex 1.21.0's dependency tree. Both go mod tidy and go vendor fail as a result. A fix requires an upstream cortex release that is compatible with prometheus 3.11.x.
