Impact

CoreDNS is pinned to v1.13.2 for the eks-distro 1.34 stream to match AWS upstream's CoreDNS version for Kubernetes 1.34 (v1.13.1-eksbuild.1). The fix for this vulnerability requires CoreDNS >= 1.14.2, which cannot be applied without breaking the upstream version alignment. Fix depends on AWS bumping CoreDNS for the 1.34 EKS-D release to >= 1.14.2.
