Impact
The remaining vulnerable jackson-core copy is relocated inside the parquet-jackson artifact, a prebuilt shaded bundle published by Apache Parquet that cannot be advanced through dependency management in this build. Pinot's managed jackson is already 2.21.5; the reported 2.19.2 comes from parquet-jackson 1.17.0, which relocates its jackson classes under shaded.parquet.com.fasterxml.jackson and ships the corresponding META-INF/maven pom.properties. The latest Apache Parquet release (1.17.1) pins jackson 2.21.3 in its parent pom, still below the 2.21.4 fix line, and no released Parquet version bundles a fixed jackson; remediation requires an upstream Parquet release that updates its bundled jackson.
