Impact

The gitlab-toolbox-ce subpackage installs Python dependencies via unpinned pip install, which pulls cryptography 43.0.3 as a transitive dependency of PyOpenSSL. The fix version (46.0.5) is three major versions ahead (43 -> 44 -> 45 -> 46), introducing deprecated features and breaking changes that prevent a simple rebuild from resolving the vulnerability. Pending an upstream fix that is compatible with the current dependency constraints.
