golang.org/x/crypto/openpgp is imported directly to verify PGP signatures on downloaded upgrade artifacts. The advisory is a deprecation notice (https://go.dev/issue/44226) with no fixed version; the import is application code rather than a transitive dependency, so it cannot be resolved by a dependency bump. No upstream release removes this import.
