Impact

Fix requires Jetty 12.0.31 but upstream Kafka is capped at 12.0.25 because Jetty 12.0.30+ uses SLF4J 2.x fluent API which is incompatible. Upstream attempted upgrade to 12.0.32 (http://github.com/apache/kafka/pull/21452) but reverted (http://github.com/apache/kafka/pull/21560). Shadowing fix in progress (http://github.com/apache/kafka/pull/21773).
