Impact

CVE-2026-47890 affects Spring MVC and WebFlux applications that send view fragments (Fragment or FragmentsRendering) to clients over Server-Sent Events. The Server-Sent Event endpoints in this package send only JSON strings through SseEmitter, and no class in the package, including every bundled library, uses view fragments or a view-rendering technology. The vulnerable code in the bundled spring-webmvc 6.2.19 library is therefore never executed.
