Impact

jackson-core is shaded within Elasticsearch 8.19.9, which sonarqube ships as its embedded search backend. The vulnerable versions (2.15.0, 2.17.2) are bundled inside Elasticsearch's own distribution JARs and cannot be updated independently of Elasticsearch. A fix requires Elasticsearch upstream to upgrade their bundled jackson-core to >= 2.18.6, followed by sonarqube upgrading to a newer Elasticsearch release.
