Impact

CVE-2025-69725 (GHSA-mqqf-5wvp-8fh8, GO-2026-4316) is an open redirect in the RedirectSlashes middleware of github.com/go-chi/chi. InfluxDB bundles github.com/go-chi/chi v4.1.0+incompatible, but neither InfluxDB nor any of its Go module dependencies calls middleware.RedirectSlashes, and the function is not present in the compiled /usr/bin/influxd binary (it is removed by the Go linker as unreachable code). The vulnerable code path cannot be reached.
