python-augeas, packaged as py3-augeas, has pure Python bindings for upstream Augeas. The vulnerability was detected in Augeas and not python-augeas. The vulnerability was fixed in Augeas 1.9.0 (see https://github.com/hercules-team/augeas/pull/480/commits/4cca923b732990bec0c699b2e69911c2221b2498) and py3-augeas was built with Augeas 1.14.1 (packages augeas-dev and augeas version 1.14.1-r0).
