Impact

GitLab 18-8-stable Gemfile constrains httparty to ~> 0.23.0 (>= 0.23.0, < 0.24.0). All httparty 0.23.x versions (0.23.0, 0.23.1, 0.23.2) are vulnerable per GHSA-hm5p-x4rq-38w4. The fix requires httparty >= 0.24.0 which is outside this constraint. Upstream has updated to ~> 0.24.0 on master (for GitLab 18.9+) but has not backported to the 18-8-stable branch.
