Impact

Remediation of GHSA-pjcq-xvwq-hhpj requires bumping go-ntlmssp to v0.1.1 or later. go-ntlmssp v0.1.1 changed the signature of ntlmssp.ProcessChallenge, adding a required boolean parameter. The upstream package depends on go-ldap v3.4.3 or earlier, which calls the old three-argument signature. This causes a build failure: "not enough arguments in call to ntlmssp.Negotiator.ProcessChallenge". go-ldap v3.4.4 (released July 2022) updated its call site to the new signature, but this upstream release branch has not backported that dependency update. Pending a backport of go-ldap to v3.4.4 or later by upstream.
