Impact

The affected netty code is bundled (shaded and relocated) inside the prebuilt Couchbase core-io driver that ships with this package. Updating the standalone netty dependency does not remediate this embedded copy, and no released Couchbase core-io driver yet bundles netty 4.2.15.Final or later, where this issue is fixed. Pending an upstream Couchbase release that ships the patched netty.
