Impact

The fixed logback release (1.5.35) requires JDK 11+ and SLF4J 2.x. This application targets Java 8 on SLF4J 1.x, and the 1.2.x/1.3.x branches are end-of-life with no backport, so the fix cannot be applied pending an upstream migration to a newer logging stack.
