Impact

gitlab-exporter 16.7.0 gemspec hard-pins puma '= 7.2.0' (CVE-2026-47736, fixed in 7.2.1). gem install resolves the pinned 7.2.0 as a mandatory dependency, which gitlab-exporter activates at runtime; it cannot be replaced in-package without breaking the exact pin. No released gitlab-exporter pins a fixed puma (latest 16.8.0 pins 8.0.1, still < 8.0.2). Pending an upstream release pinning puma >= 7.2.1.
