Impact

Crossplane package-manager signature-verification TOCTOU. Upstream fix landed on main and was backported only to the v2.2/v2.3 branches (v2.2.3, v2.3.3); not backported to the v1.20 release branch (v1.20.10 contains only dependency bumps). Remediation requires upgrading to crossplane v2.2.3+/v2.3.3+.
